Invisalign in Mount Pleasant, SC
Invisalign uses a series of custom, clear, removable aligners to gradually straighten teeth and improve the bite. At Mount Pleasant Orthodontics, board-certified orthodontist Dr. Sydney Schneider offers Invisalign for adults, teens, and children, with treatment plans designed around each patient’s goals and lifestyle.
How Invisalign Works
Treatment begins with a digital scan using our iTero Lumina scanner, with no messy impressions. Dr. Sydney Schneider then digitally plans your tooth movements and your custom aligners are fabricated. Each aligner is designed to gradually move your teeth towards their final position. For the best results, aligners should be worn 20 to 22 hours a day and removed only to eat, drink anything other than water, and brush and floss.
Invisalign for Adults and Teens
Invisalign is a discreet option that fits easily into busy lives, whether you’re a professional, a parent, or a teen balancing school, sports, and activities. It can treat many common concerns, including crowding, spacing, and a variety of bite problems. Dr. Schneider will let you know whether Invisalign is the best fit for your goals or whether another option would better achieve your ideal result.
Invisalign First for Kids
Invisalign First is designed for children ages 6 to 10 who still have a mix of baby and permanent teeth. As part of early (Phase I) treatment, treatment with Invisalign First can help develop the arches, create space for permanent teeth, and address concerns such as crowding and spacing while your child is still growing.
